Our goal is to establish an open and involved partnership with our clients. We seek investors who believe in our value philosophy, our rigorous fundamental investment process and want to invest like long-term business owners.
We are influenced by great investors such as Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett, Seth Klarman, and Joel Greenblatt. We greatly respect and admire our partner Francisco García Paramés and his unique and successful investing approach. In addition, we are alumni of the London Business School Value Investing course taught by Eddie Ramsden, a former Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School and fund manager backed by Joel Greenblatt.
Palm Harbour Capital LLP is a United Kingdom Limited Liability Partnership based in London, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The Founding Partners are Peter Smith, CFA, a former analyst at Cobas Asset Management SGIIC, and Santa Comba Gestion SL, the holding company of Francisco García Paramés. Mr. Paramés was the Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer of Bestinver, a Madrid-based asset management company for over 25 years. He built Bestinver from a small Spanish portfolio to a global value power-house with over €10 billion AUM through outstanding returns. He is currently the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Cobas Asset Management SGIIC.

PETER SMITH, CFA
MANAGING PARTNER
Peter is the Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a BBA in International Business with a focus on Finance and German. He has a Masters in Finance with a focus on Investment Management from London Business School. He has extensive experience analysing and investing in companies. Before founding Palm Harbour Capital, he worked for over two years closely with the highly respected value investor Francisco García Paramés.
